The 2022 Season celebrates a world premiere and offers fresh twists on beloved classics by Bizet, Rossini, Verdi, and Wagner. Corrales holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Webster University.With great anticipation for the 2022 Season opening on July 1, the Santa Fe Opera is pleased to announce casting updates, name its 47 Apprentice Singers, and confirm the return of popular visitor activities including Prelude Talks, Preview Dinners, Shuttles, Opera House & Ranch Tours, and Family Nights and discounted day-of tickets for seniors, students, and military personnel. Corrales received her operatic training under the tutelage of Lynn Eustis as a Young Artist of the Boston University Opera Institute. Recent roles at the Institute include Ma Zegner Proving Up, Mary Crawford Mansfield Park, and scenes as the title character in Rusalka.

Other recent concert engagements include the Soprano Soloist in Verdi's Inno delle Nazioni, and the Soprano Soloist in Handel's The Messiah. Corrales regularly performs in concert, and was most recently seen in December 2021 as a featured singer in the Holiday Pops Concerts Series with The Boston Pops Symphony under the baton of Keith Lockhart. Other recent awards include Semifinalist in the Houston Saengerbund Vocal Competition (2021), Finalist in the National Opera Association Vocal Competition (2021), Semifinalist in the Camerata Bardi International Vocal Competition (2021), and Second Prize Winner in the Orpheus Vocal Competition (2020). Corrales has twice been named the Boston District Winner and New England Region Encouragement Award Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition (2019-2020, 2020-2021). She was also named a New York City District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition (previously known as the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions).

Corrales gained international recognition as a Grand Finalist in the 59th Concurso Internacional de Canto Tenor Viñas at the Gran teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Spain. She is also featured in the Apprentice Scenes as Rosalinde Die Fledermaus, and Donna Elvira Don Giovanni. Corrales is an Apprentice Singer with The Santa Fe Opera, where she can be seen in the ensembles of Carmen, Falstaff, and M. Praised for her "lustrous" voice, soprano Caroline Corrales is an operatic star on the rise.
